C E T Martial Arts is the product of many years research and training into many styles including Aikido, Judo and Jujitsu.

Sensei Clive spent most of his life training and studying everything he could find, and by taking out the parts he most liked and blending them together he developed a self defence that encompassed all that he liked about martial arts.
Sensei Clive believed that you never stop learning and improving yourself no matter how good you are, when he was 6 Dan and a Professor of martial arts he still thought there was more to learn.
It was this drive and passion for knowledge that made him the great martial artist he was.
Sensei Clive had many instructors in his time but he formed close friendships with his Judo coach Sensei Les Davies (Austin Judo Club) and Sensei Phil Hudson (Bishop Challenor Martial Arts), they remained close even after he left and started his own clubs.
He met many people in his years training and teaching and they all admired his thirst for perfection in technique and the general character of a brilliant man.
Over the course of his life Sensei Clive trained a lot of people including most of his own family who train and teach in their own clubs to this day.
Sensei Paul Taylor (brother) from the Beeches Martial Arts was taught Judo, Jujitsu and Aikido by Clive.
Sensei Keith Taylor (son) was taught Judo, Jujitsu and Aikido and now runs C E T Martial Arts, Roy Taylor (brother) was taught Aikido and Jujitsu, Danny Taylor (nephew) was taught Aikido and Jujitsu.
There are more including his two daughters Zoe and Vicki, many nephews and nieces and his other brothers all of which were at some point in their lives taught Judo, Jujitsu or Aikido.
This in itself has led to the Taylor family having one of the most successful martial arts family ran clubs to date now boasting 6 venues in Birmingham.
Our clubs are based on the belief that our students needs are of the utmost importance and our entire team is committed to meeting those needs.
As a result, a high percentage of our classes are from repeat customers and referrals.
We would welcome the opportunity to gain your trust and deliver you one of  the best services in the industry.
